Application Description

Closely monitor your household energy/water usage and the chances are you will SAVE MONEY! This easy to use application allows you to track your household utility meters, with support for up to three separate multi-rate tariffs per meter (e.g. day, night ... etc). Once you start entering meter readings, your usage, costs and savings are calculated and your usage or costs are displayed in easy to visualise graphs. Bug fixes, including ...

Exporting readings by CSV. Some service providers, most notably BT Internet and Yahoo, don't like attachments of type text/csv. This resulted in the export data being omitted from the email.

Changing the date when entering readings via the keyboard. This didn't work properly in previous versions.

Added a check to prevent you entering a conversion factor of 0. This doesn't make sense and results in usage and costs being zero.

Also minor improvements, including ...

Changing the graphs to include better labelling on the x-axis, particularly when viewing small numbers of days and large numbers of years. As a result, bar charts are now used for up to 14 days and up to 12 months.

For those of you with a lot of meters, I have put back the ability to select the meter to view from a list of all meters, rather than having to scroll right multiple times. As part of this re-work, I have (hopefully) improved the way you set up meters and tariffs/rates. Select the blue button to configure tariff and rate information per meter, or select the meter name itself to view readings, usage and cost information.

Simplified the buying process for the Backup and Restore feature.

For meters with multiple tariffs, made the tariff selection more obvious on the graph screens. As a result, in landscape mode I have changed the range selection to use left and right arrows. This will allow me to support more ranges in future.
