GFR calculator using CKD-EPI or MDRD equation

Application Description

Calculates GFR (kidney glomerular filtration rate) from the serum creatinine level and subject age, sex, and race.

Accepts serum creatinine measured by the new IDMS method (adjusted for isotope-dilution mass spectrometry) or by older methods.

Uses both the new 2009 CKD-EPI equation, and the older MDRD equation for which it gives results based on both IDMS-adjusted and older, non-adjusted, serum creatinine values.

Accepts creatinine in either mg/dL or micromoles/L.
