Night Vision Apps

Never be caught in the dark again ...

Overview

Have you ever wanted night vision goggles? Well, you could buy them for hundreds of dollars, or you could simply use your iPhone. The quality of these apps will not be nearly as good as dedicated goggles, of course, and will only work in low light conditions. We compare our favorite night vision apps in this AppGuide.

    Night Vision Scope

    by Taplayer

Night Vision Scope is the essential app. What makes this app stand out above the others? This app works much better than the others in this guide. The night vision mode can be adjusted for sensitivity with its amplifier feature. There are four different viewfinders included in this app (goggles, binoculars, monocular, and weapons sight). The developer is kind enough to point out that this app will not work in complete darkness, but it will perform great in low light conditions. Night Vision Scope is the best app in this genre and a must-have for those looking for a night vision app.

    Night Vision

    by ManEye

There are not too many features that make this one stand out. The app will change your screen image to green, blue or red. There is only one viewfinder mode (binoculars). You are able to snap a picture with this app. An okay app that may be worth a look.

    Night Vision+

    by All Soft

This is an app to avoid. It is amazing the app has gotten so many positive ratings. It does not work as advertised and provides very little real value.

Predator Vision

    Predator Vision

    by MacPhun LLC

Predator Vision brings you out of the night vision apps and into that classic Predator vision (thermal vision). This is a fun app that lets you record video in this Predator mode. The thermal mode is obviously just a simulation, but the simulation is fun and for fans of Predator this is a must have app.
