Also works on Family Plans.  http://www.att.com/wirelessdiscounts  College students, as well as employees of eligible companies, are qualified for at least a 15% FAN (Foundation Account Number) discount through AT&amp;T (applicable to voice &amp; data, hardware excluded). Unlike the original iPhone, the new iPhone is a traditionally subsidized phone as they no longer have to share revenue with Apple. So in theory, this means AT&amp;T should treat the iPhone 3G just like any of their other smart phones and is therefore eligible for student/corporate discounts.  It takes 1-2 billing cycles to take effect. and will automatically enroll in a NEW 2 YEAR CONTRACT if you apply the discount.
