SlingPlayer is finally coming to the iPhone by the end of the first quarter, allowing users to watch their home TV from their iPhone. I can’t WAIT for this to get into the appstore. I used to use slingplayer on the windows mobile phone for watching the lakers games!
WHY DID IT TAKE THIS LONG? WHEN DO THEY EXPECT IT TO BE AVAILABLE?
I am skeptical that will actually work over 3G. I’ve learned not to get my hopes up after watching demos from a company’s PR department…it leaves you with only disappointment. We’ll have to wait and see once it actually comes out.
This better work on 3G, the whole appeal is TV anywhere. Not TV anywhere I have WiFi and probably an HD TV also.
This has been talked about for so long, it’ll be nice to see it finally become a reality.
