Finally, no more waiting in long lines to see the this year's summer blockbusters thanks to Fandango for the iPhone.
Fandango recently released their very own free App Store application that allows users to preview trailers, find local theaters, and even make ticket purchases while on the go. The application uses your iPhone's core location feature to find the theater nearest you while allowing you to store them as favorites, saving precious seconds for your next movie viewing experience. Fandango for the iPhone gives you the ability to store credit card information for quick and painless ticket purchasing, as long as the theater you are headed to supports Fandango ticketing. You can also view purchase history directly from the application.
There is one apparent downside, users that already have a Fandango account online are not able to log in to their accounts from the application. The Fandango application is only able to use the information you directly input to purchase tickets.
If you are unlike me and have a theater that supports Fandango ticketing near you, this application may save you just enough time to bypass all the people waiting in line to ensure a great seat.
