After the smashing success that was our first ever download code giveaway, we have decided to do it again. This time we are giving away five (5) free download codes for Simon Oualid’s Pro RSS Reader. The application is normally priced at $1.99 at the App Store.
The contest begins today and will officially end on March 20th, 11:59 P.M. PDT so don’t delay. Contestants will be allowed to submit one entry per calendar day until the contest ends. The contest is only open to our U.S. readers with U.S. iTunes accounts. To see the rest of the official rules, follow the jump.
From the developer:
This is the reader you need if you want an offline news reader that is not tied to your Google Reader account: with the OPML import feature, you can import into Pro RSS Reader lists exported from any application that support OPML (Google Reader, Yahoo Reader, Safari, Thunderbird, Firefox …). It is also cool for people with an iPod Touch that want to read RSS feeds, including images, when not connected to a WiFi network.
To enter the giveaway:
- Comment on this post telling us why you would like a RSS reader for your iPhone.
- Contestants may enter once per calendar day until the giveaway is over on March 20th, 11:59 P.M. PDT.
- Contestants who post more than once per calendar day will be disqualified.
- Winners will be chosen randomly. Contestants may only win one code each.
- Be sure to include contact information when posting a comment so we are able to contact the winners. All information is confidential and will not be shared with any other company.
- The giveaway is only open to U.S. residents with a U.S. iTunes account.
- Redemption codes must be used within one week of the giveaway’s official end-date. Codes will expire if not redeemed. We will not issue any more codes if they have been allowed to expire.
Thanks to Simon Oualid for supplying the codes for the giveaway!

I would like Pro RSS Reader for my iPhone because I’m tired of having to use my Google Reader link from my home screen to view all 101 of my current subscriptions. I also want Pro RSS Reader for my iPhone because I’m an RSS addict and I like free stuff. How else would I have found this giveaway if I wasn’t? LOL
I would like it because of my need of RSS, I use different apps and neither is as good as this one (I think).
Just because it is a VERY important tool for me. I mean, te read RSS it is a MUST on my internet life, just to get updates about a lot of things. From music to gadges, even work and fun. How do you think that I get the information regarding this opportunity? Yes! reading your RSS.
I read RSS every single day. I use google reader web clipping on my iphone, and this would be a dream. RSS keeps me in touch with the interweb, and helps me garner content for my own site.
I need a RSS App since I don’t have one and since it is a pro RSS it probably has a free version that has way less options
I need this app because I always read my RSS feeds, but I can’t always see the images becasue I have an iPod touch and don’t always have a connection.
I am entering again for this thing. I want a good, quality rss reader, but I need to save money right now.
I use RSS feeds to keep up with a number of news sites as it is easy, quick content.
RSS makes it really easy to see everything that’s new. I hope I win
Because free items are usually a good thing. At least this kind of free item. :8-)
RSS is something I have not used a lot, but from what I’ve read above, it seems pretty useful! I hope to find out about it with this
because I’d like to try out the 3.0 beta, so I can’t use the rss reader I’m using now. I have to be jailbroken to use my current rss app.
Bragging rights?
This would be great!
Considering I’ve dropped too much loot on sub-par RSS readers so far..
I’ve been using the Net News Gator RSS app, which works well but lacks some features like managing feeds from the iPhone. So it would be interesting to compare the two. Thanks!
I havn’t won something in as long as I can remember. I need it as my 3 year old would say!
Lover to have a rss reader app. This one seems more stream line and easier to use. Plus its cool
Because I never win anything
The internet police at work are spending more time worrying about us reading news than they spend on working on computers that don’t work. I need this program for the iPhone!!
I use RSS for my personal website. I have it protected with SSL and basic authentication and like to use it to keep tabs on visitors to the site and what pages are visited. I also post personal articles and pictures in the site and allow access to the articles and pictures through RSS. I like to make sure it can display correctly in most RSS aggregators. It makes it easy to keep these on my iPhone for easy reference and for testing.
Safari just doesn’t cut it for RSS
