The App Store contains tons of conversion applications, some of which are not too shabby, but if you are looking for a conversion application with a really intuitive user interface and all the trimmings, Convertbot is the application for you.
Convertbot was developed by Tapbots, the same company who brought you the extremely successful Weightbot. That’s a whole lot of bots. Anyway, Convertbot allows you to convert over 300 different types of units with categories that include area, volume, currency, and pretty much anything you need converted. During its limited time at the App Store, it has garnered some pretty solid user reviews. With the new update, it should get even better.
Convertbot 1.1 adds over 100 new units and a whole bunch of new categories. The update also allows you to enable or disable entire categories or single units.
To sweeten the deal, Tapbots has also released Convertbot Mini, a slimmed down free version of its big brother. Convertbot Mini contains the same great user interface, just not nearly as many units and categories.
Convertbot is available at the App Store for the introductory price of $.99.
