Ian Page initially stole our Apple fanboy hearts when he released his
freeware version of
Mactracker for the Mac OS. His comprehensive list of Apple products and details just couldn't be matched by any one single source, and the fact that it is still being offered for free is just icing on the cake. That same wonderful Ian Page has just released an iPhone version of
Mactracker and guess what? It is also available for free!
Mactracker for the iPhone is basically like its desktop counterpart. The only real differences are that it is portable and lacks model icons since they contain Apple trademarked content, something Apple doesn't allow at the App Store.
Mactracker offers detailed information about every Macintosh ever made, including items such as processor speed, memory, graphics cards, and even supported Mac OS versions. Also included in
