That didn’t take long. Just a little over 24 hours after the release of Beta 2 of the iPhone OS 3.0 comes word that Quickpwn.com has released an updated version of their QuickPwn utility that will jailbreak your device. It’s important to note that this doesn’t appear to be an official iPhone Dev-Team release even though there are mentions of it in the download itself. I just tried it out on my first gen iPod touch and it seems to have worked with little effort, although I haven’t played with it to any extent to give it an official thumbs up or down.
