If you are an MTV fanatic, you probably already know that the
2009 MTV Movie Awards will be airing live from Los Angeles on Sunday, May 31st at 9 PM ET. If you aren't a fan and you didn't already know that, that means you have now wasted an open brain slot on useless knowledge just by reading this. Either way, if you just can't get enough of the big awards ceremony, MTV has created an application just for you titled
2009 MTV Movie Awards.
The
2009 MTV Movie Awards application allows you to view tons of MTV Movie Awards related videos, blogs, Twitter feeds, and more. Since the awards will be hosted by SNL's Andy Samberg, there is guaranteed to be tons of content with him smack dab in the middle. Apparently Eminem will also be making an appearance on stage, but whether or not he will be contained within this application remains to be seen. I think they just put that portion in there to get the long time fans of Eminem to tune in and watch the show, and I am pretty sure it will work. It's MTV and it's the Movie Awards, so anything can happen.
