bobbycarrotforeverWith the official release of iPhone OS 3.0 just around the corner, developers are trying to get their applications prepped for all of the new features and hurdles that are in store, and game developer FDG Entertainment is one of them.

FDG released Bobby Carrot Forever in the App Store way back in January 2009.  The game has since garnered a nice following, and because of this, FDG intends to further support Bobby Carrot Forever into the future.

Bobby Carrot Forever already contains tons of great content, including 6 different worlds totaling 72 levels, 17 CD-quality audio tracks, solid controls, and mind bending puzzles.  With the planned version 1.3 update, Bobby Carrot Forever is only going to get better.  FDG intends to skip 1.2 and go straight to 1.3, which simply shows you how much they have in store for the game.

Bobby Carrot Forever version 1.3 will include:

  • Japanese guest composer “Atsushi Fukai” made 2 music tracks for the game
  • Free level pack: Surreal (difficulty setting: High)
  • New Worldmap
  • 5 purchasable level packs on Worldmap 2
  • Prepped for further Worldmaps which will be accessible through the train station (buy tickets)
  • New collectible element (which is still a secret), but no additional golden carrots for the time being

Bobby Carrot Forever version 1.3 should be available sometime in July.  FDG was kind enough to send along some screenshots from version 1.3 so you can see what’s in store.  We have included the rest of the 1.3 preview screenshots below.

Bobby Carrot Forever is currently available in the App Store for $2.99.
