Disc golf, or frisbee golf as it is called in some groups, is a simple and relaxing golf-like game that can be played in the park with your friends or family. Disc golf can also become a less relaxing, pain in the rear when someone accidentally messes up the scorecard, but thanks to the new and improved iPhone and iPod touch application, DiscGolf, you should be able to avoid those bloody scorecard battles altogether.
DiscGolf allows you to easily keep track of not only your own disc golf score, but also up to eight other players’ scores as well. The interface is easy and fun, simply enter the participants names and choose a course and you are on your way. DiscGolf features a built in leader board, easy set-up wizard, golfer customization, the ability to score up to 50 strokes per hole, hole par customization, and no limits on the number of holes you can score, which comes in handy for those courses with an odd number of holes. DiscGolf is also able to retain course information so you won’t have to enter all of the information all over again, and it even able to save golfer’s info for later use.
Sutibo Software, the developer of DiscGolf, is also working on their next update for the application, which will keep track of user statistics so you can see what your average is as you are scoring a game.
DiscGolf is currently available in the App Store for the introductory price of $.99.
