EA has decided to celebrate the U.S. Open by placing Tiger Woods PGA Tour for the iPhone and iPod touch on sale.

The U.S. Open festivities started yesterday in New York and that’s exactly the same time the game was placed on sale, so we can only assume the sale will end sometime around the end of the event, which is Sunday, June 21st. Sounds like a great Father’s Day present to me.
I bought this a while ago @ $9.99 and it’s worth every cent. The controls are very well thought out & I think it plays just as well or better than it did back on the PS1. Only downside is that it’s a little easy. By the time I’d finished the second tournament I had made myself a six star (out of six!?!) player. From then on, it’s a matter of how far under par/how many shots can you win by. Like all golf games, it is time consuming, you have to play the same course four times in a row. But, all in all, it’s a great game
