The App Store’s one-year anniversary has come and gone, but that doesn’t mean the excitement is over, it’s actually just the beginning.
Our first annual AppAwards nominees have been posted on our official page, which means it is time for you, our glorious readers, to choose which apps you believe are the best of the best. You can vote in as many or as few categories as you wish, but you only get one vote per IP address, so make it count. At the very bottom of the page you will be able to submit your votes, and if you have a Twitter account you will be allowed to tweet that you have voted. This part is very important because it enters you into our grand prize app package. You can see all of the details on our AppAwards contest page.
Voting begins immediately and will end on Sunday, July 19th, so get to it. Winners will be announced the very next day.

Thanks again!
I realise that you’re a web apps review site, but the coding solution you’ve used on the appawards page is really simple, clever, and effective. Brilliant.
Who chose these apps? I think the collection and choices are spot on in every category except finance. In finance apps, why isn’t Cha-Ching listed? The first version was a bit weak (too heavy on good looks) but now it’s an AMAZING product, head and shoulders above any other financial app (for personal finance that is).
Thanks!
I came specifically to see fitness and nutrition apps but there wasn’t a category for it. Kinda weak that you made the game categories so granular but you didn’t include a top-level like fitness
