Overview

bumper-stars-clickFor starters, if you're not sold on this game by just looking at the app icon then I don't know what else to tell you? I mean look at it. How can you not want to at least try the game out? Alright, all joking aside... let's get to the review already, yes? In the description of this app, it explains that the game is a cross between pinball and billiards. You know what? They are absolutely right on that one. This app has a very simple control and gameplay setup, but is it worth the three bucks?

Features

The biggest feature this game comes with is its ability to connect with Facebook. Once you have connected, you can challenge your friends, collect credits and shop around buying different characters, food packs, arenas and more, and customize your challenges to show off your style as well. There are achievements to earn and a high scores board so you can keep track of how well you are doing compared to all of your Facebook friends. The Devs have also stated that they plan to add constant updates to the game so that they can keep things fresh and new each time you load up the application.

The Breakdown

The Good:

bumper-stars-dragThe ease of the gameplay and controls makes the top list of things this app does "good". All you have to do is hold your finger down and drag it in whichever direction you want the beaver to go and release. That's it. The beaver will bounce around and go in said direction. It's really very simple and easy to pick up almost instantly. I also really enjoyed the graphics and how simple the gameplay was. It is very addicting and as always, once you get further along the levels tend to get harder and harder. Which is fine and works great against the easy gameplay and controls.

The Bad:

bumper-stars-last-shotAnother game where you will either like it or hate it. If you like it, there really isn't a lot of "bad" here. The only thing I could really find was the music the game comes with. It's pretty annoying and it really got on my nerves. However, you can turn it off so what else can I say about this app? The only other "bad" I found was the price. I'm not saying $2.99 is a lot for a good and quality app. Far from it actually. But for this one, there really isn't much here so that might be a steep price for some considering how many good apps are out there for only $.99.

The Verdict

Although I think the price is a little bit high in this one, it is a top notch game that will keep you busy for hours. It is very addicting and a lot of fun for sure. The simple controls and gameplay really make this app one of my favorites. [gallery link="file" columns="4"]
