Yesterday we brought word that an Alice in Chains Black Gives Way to Blue iPhone app was about to hit the App Store, and just as promised, it arrived early this morning.  We pretty much covered everything regarding the app’s functionality in yesterday’s post, but at that time we had no idea if the app would be available for free or if it would cost a pretty penny.  Apparently it’s neither of those, as the Alice in Chains iPhone app is currently priced at a reasonable $.99.

aliceinchains_screenSince we already covered the app’s functionality in detail, here is just a quick list of what you can expect:

  • Full track streaming of three songs from Black Gives Way To Blue
  • Full video streaming of “Check My Brain,” “A Looking In View,” and the Black Gives Way To Blue EPK.
  • Photos from the stage and behind-the-scenes.
  • Links to the official Alice In Chains Store and and web sites.
  • Fan Wall for commenting on audio, video and photos.
  • Facebook and Twitter integration to connect to your personal accounts for posting and sharing.
  • Official Alice In Chains Mailing List and Feedback integration.

So Alice in Chains fans, what do you think?  Are you disappointed that the app isn’t free like Nine Inch Nails’ iPhone app?
