Toyota just pulled a very interesting PR stunt, their iPhone app lets you draw a simple shape on your iPhone and takes it to a Times Square display.

The iPhone app, “Prius experience” is on the App Store since august and already allowed you to discover Toyota’s Prius and try a couple of little games.

What they just added is a function where you’re supposed to draw a tree (but you can draw what you want) and it will “interact with the Prius on your screen”. The really cool part is that if you wait until the end, a pop-up will offer you to show off your “tree” on a Times Square Billboard. The only limitation is that your drawing must be made in one draft, so no interruptions.

I already uploaded my own fingermade AppAdvice ad, tell us if you spotted it! You can watch the advertisements in live using Times Square webcams.

Cool right ?
