It won't come as a surprise to you but Steve Ballmer, Microsoft's CEO, doesn't like the iPhone. And who can blame him really ? Imagine that every time you give an interview (a big part of his life) journalists ask you what you think of the iPhone or why Windows Phone sucks compared to the iPhone. This frustration seems to be accumulating and pushes the poor little Ballmer out of line. After telling the French Press that Microsoft is better than Apple in the mobile business because they let you pick how big is the screen that will let you enjoy their catastrophic OS. Steve Ballmer announced that the internet is not designed for the iPhone :
Let's face it, the Internet was designed for the PC. The Internet is not designed for the iPhone. That's why they've got 75,000 applications - they're all trying to make the Internet look decent on the iPhone
Sorry Steve (Ballmer), the Web Standards Project's Acid3 test ( a test that evaluates how well your browser conforms itself to internet standards) actually put iPhone's mobile safari ahead of the desktop version of IE8 (the iPhones does about 3 times as well). Relax, have a drink and listen to the Beatles...
