The great app deals just keep on popping up this weekend.  Today developer Pure Digital Magic is offering their unique and customizable photo displaying and sharing app, PhotoShelf, for free.

photoshelf screen 200x300 Let Your Crafty Side Shine With PhotoShelf Free For Today OnlyPhotoShelf is a relatively new app that allows you to display your photos on a customizable shelf.  The app features 18 different themed shelves, over 100 frames, 100 classical paintings, and hundreds of accessories to make the shelf your own.  Aside from all of those items, you can also add spotlights to your shelves, add custom titles to frames, add notes to your photos, crop your photos within the frames, and even share your creations via email or upload them to Facebook.  Pure Digital Magic intends to add even more accessories via future updates.

PhotoShelf requires a second- or third-generation iPhone or iPod touch, so first-generation owners need not apply.  The app also requires iPhone OS 3.0 or later.

PhotoShelf has been available since mid-September at prices ranging from $.99-$4.99, but today and today only you can pick it up for free.

  1. Wow tried to download and it says that it is being modified, try back later.

    hummmm what’s up with that?

    • That message usually appears when the app is being updated or the price is being changed. I have contacted the developer about it and will let you know as soon as possible. Thanks

  2. Seems to be priced at .99c when I check it out. Maybe the free thing is over? Bummer..

    • iTunes may still be caching the $.99 price, but it should be free in no time if it is not already. PhotoShelf will be free all day long, there was just a little mix up on the developer’s side.

      • Thanks for the info. It works fine now :)

  3. tried to download and it says that it is being modified, try back later…the link is still broken- as of 11.24 AM, EST…

    • Yeah, like I stated earlier, the developer made a mistake with the price. I can confirm that it has changed from $.99 to free but iTunes doesn’t update that information immediately. So, basically, just hang in there. It shouldn’t be more than an hour or two.

  4. …and still listed at .99…

  5. The link works now and is free…

  6. Hmm in Australia always said $1.19 Usually we get the free ones too even though we are in a different timezone.
