You’re right. I should have been more clear, but yes, I’m talking about Comics – the free app – by Comixology.

I think the above article may have it wrong. “Comics” is the free app BY Comixology that allows one to read and browse through dozens of free comics, and make in-app purchases. The “comiXology” app comes in both a Lite and pay version, and is designed to provide information on comic releases each week. In the latter two apps, you cannot actually read comics, only determine what’s being released and when.

Sadly, this is US exclusive for the time being (and probably forever, since Marvel material is usually published under licensing outside the US, and I don’t think we’re gonna see local deals that would probably not pay off).
