asphalt5 New Asphalt 5 Trailer Displays Burnout Like Gameplay

Gameloft first showed off Asphalt 5 at this year’s WWDC, but they really haven’t given us much since then, which is probably because they have been too busy releasing tons of other titles for the iPhone and iPod touch.  They have, however, finally decided to give us another good helping of Asphalt 5 today via a brand new gameplay trailer that sort of reminds us of another high-octane, lane jumping racing game, Burnout.

Asphalt 5 is said to feature 12 tracks, an unconfirmed number of licensed vehicles, local Bluetooth and Wi-Fi multiplayer, and online leader boards.  It will also feature more cars and tracks via in-app purchases.  The game originally had a target release date of “end of summer,” so it should be arriving sooner rather than later.  No pricing has been announced at this time.

  1. It’s all about Real Racing

  2. Holy crap it’s Burnout! Finally a great arcade racer (Real Racing is boring).
