Apple Responds To Verizon's Ads With Some Ads Of Their Own

We're not sure which of Verizon's map ads Apple has taken offense to, although I would personally bet the Island of Misfit Toys is the culprit, but according to Engadget, Apple has decided to respond to those ads with some ads of their own.  Apparently Luke Wilson just wasn't cutting it. Apple will be airing two brand new ads tonight that will focus on the fact that phones on Verizon's network are not able to field calls and use data at the same time.  Well actually, the ads don't specifically mention Verizon, but the tagline at the end of the commercial stating "Can your phone and your network do that?" pretty much drives the point home. If those iPhone to Verizon rumors weren't already seeming unlikely before, this may be the nail in the coffin.  How do you feel about Apple defending AT&T with an ad of their own?
