If you’re planning to be hunting for bargains this year then once again, there is an app for that! (Don’t you love that line?). Dealnews just released the second version of its Black Friday app and you might want to consider it.

It provides you with both “official” and “leaked” ads so you’ll be the first one to know about the deals, then it lets you add the items you’re interested in into a shopping list. You can look for deals by category or retailers and it lets you confirm them on safari.

Furthermore the app won’t die after Black Friday as it’ll be updated for Cyber Monday or After Christmas Sales.

It’s available for free on the App Store.

  1. It just breaks my heart there will be no Black Friday deals at Circuit City this year. They were the best. And it was a real social event talking to fellow shoppers while waiting in line for hours. I never saw anyone leave–the deals were too good. My fave: the black iPod USB wall charger for $4.99.

Sorry, back to the app…the one thing that would be cool is integration with Google maps to plan the most efficient shopping route. You’ve got to consider the priority and availability of the items you want, store opening times, etc. To nail down the best Black Friday deals.
