This morning I launched Eliminate Pro and I was greeted with a very welcoming surprise. ngmoco is offering anyone who installs and launches Epic Pet Wars on their device 15 free Power Cells to restore their energy in Eliminate Pro.
When you launch Eliminate Pro today, tap on Gear Up and then Get Energy. Right next to the usual iTunes link to purchase more Power Cells there will be another link titled Special Offers. When you tap on Special Offers you will be brought to a webpage in Mobile Safari. On this page there is a direct link to download Epic Pet Wars for free. Once you have Epic Pet Wars installed, just launch it and head back out. You don’t have to register for anything or waste any more time if you don’t wish to. The next time you launch Eliminate Pro you will have 15 free Power Cells. The Power Cells must still be redeemed for energy at this point. To do so, simply tap on the energy recharge indicator on the title screen, or follow the earlier method by tapping on Gear Up and then Get Energy. Here you will be able to redeem your Power Cells for energy.
I know it’s only 15 Power Cells, but hey, free is free. ngmoco originally indicated they would be implementing this sort of in-game marketing in Eliminate Pro to earn more Power Cells, but when the game launched, the feature was surprisingly absent.
Hopefully this is just one of many more opportunities to earn free Power Cells in Eliminate Pro. It’s definitely a great marketing tool for ngmoco since Eliminate Pro’s install base has to be rather large at this point considering it is the top downloaded free app in the App Store.
But how do folks feel about this? Are you willing to jump through a few hoops to earn some more Eliminate Pro playing time?

I was just thinking about getting Eliminate Pro (Yes, I’ve been living in a cave) and this seems a good way to get more of that precious energy. I’ve jumped through a lot more hoops for free stuff.
I’ll jump through hoops. It is easier to download a free app then it is to work a job. Also nice Plus+ name.
People wake up,
It’s time to wake up and see this ng moco scam for what it is.
I think Eliminate pro is a great game,(not the best in the world- but that’s not the point). But what ngmoco is doing here is openly milking the people who want to play the game off their cash.
Yes I know the game is for free.
Yes I know that you can play without buying energy cells; if you are willing to wait through 12 hours of free recharge so that you can play for 5-10 mints. YES!!your energy level winds down in 10 mints max!!!
But look at the big picture, this whole thing is WRONG.
2 days ago I paid 9.99 euro (15 USD)on some power cells thinking that I am paying to play the game for good without having to worry about energy anymore.
Well you see, nothing ever mentions that you are spending real money to buy virtual DISPOSABLE power cells. And the problem in all this you ask?
Well, if you play eliminate pro for 1 hour per day (using power cells to recharge) you end up using around 9.99 euro worth of power cells per week. That’s more than 500 euro, 746 USD for the whole year.
Well, I dunno about you, but I’m no millionaire, and frankly no game on the planet deserves that much money.
What ng moco is doing here, is discretely and dishonestly getting you addicted to a game so that they can put their hands in your pocket.
This kind of business practices shouldn’t even exist.Apple, you started this, you gotta put an end to it.
I would rather pay 20 euro to own and play a game as much as I like rather than get caught up in “it’s a free game – what are you complaining about bullshit”.
It’s a good thing that for 9.99 euro you can still buy ANY other game in the app store for good to play for 24 hrs if you wish!!!
Hey ur retarded because you can play eliminate for free online without recharging but you just wont get credits. Its like playing in practice mode dumb ass
I think the energy cells are WAY to EXPENCIEVE. I mean if someone played on a regular basis this would be probably one of the most, if not the most expensive App by far. You cut the cell re-charge to an hour for four, but that’s still a little rediculius! Because the game is free you think you can do this, but what about the people who can’t Afford to buy energy cells. charge 4.99 for the game, and get 12 energy cells every hour not four! As far as charging a rediculius price for energy cells, when 12 only last around 10 minuets cut the price in half, atleast! Any this is just a few suggestions, and in my opionion if you don’t change these issues your going to start to see a big drop off in your quartely incomes!
Lame, this game is totally unaffordable if someone plans to but energy cells.
I always play online without credits, its still just as fun.
So sorry Nazo Sislian but i comepletely disagree.
The whole energy cell thing is fine in my book:
It means ‘normal’ people can play a good online game, but NOT to excess. Assuming you have some self control of course. This is good, since it stops hoards of no-life, adictive types playing it 24/7 and kicking everyone else’s arses. Of course you CAN do that; but you’d better have deep pockets!
Nice one! I play 3 games at a time, and the energy recharge times mean I have to space it out a bit before the next time.
