According to Techcrunch, iDroid, an app by Swavv Apps just got rejected from the App Store.
It was a pretty innocent app as all it did was display the glowing red Droid eye and some slides about the Droid’s capabilities, but you must admit that the refusal is not very surprising. I just don’t know why Apple really cares though.
Was this the right move?

lol, not suprised. wonder what reason they gave though, if any at all.
It’s obvious trademark infringement.
As millenomi already stated. People are taking this App Store review process stuff way to far. How many more idiots are submitting stuff like for this review and clogging up the review pipeline with absolute horse crap when actual iPhone developers are trying to get stuff up on the store before the holiday season hits?
Total iDiots.
yeah, right.
apple created an almost draconian review process which they use to arbitrarily refuse applications and the fault is on the people who submits too many crappy apps.
this is what i really love about apple fandom, you people can go to incredible length to embarrass yourselves supporting each and every apple’s stupid decision.
i guess you really loved the puck shaped mouse, right?
bah…
iPhone > Droid.
I went to the local Verizon store in the mall and checked out the Droid in person a few days after the launch. I wasn’t impressed.
Wow…so you bitch and whine about apple rejecting apps of all kids and require them to be more open, but now you are saying they are doing the right thing.
Like I tell bisexuals, pick a pipe and stick with it..
