With Magellan and TomTom getting all of the attention lately, Navigon no doubt wanted to shift your focus back to their high quality iPhone navigation app.  The best way to accomplish such a task is to have a sale, and that’s exactly what they are doing.

mobilenavigator_livetrafficNavigon’s MobileNavigator North America will be priced at $69.99, a full $20.00 below its regular price, from now until November 30th.  MobileNavigator’s new Traffic Live feature will also be on sale for $14.99 during that time, which is $5.00 below its launch price.  That puts MobileNavigator North America well below TomTom US & Canada’s price of $99.99, and slightly below Magellan RoadMate’s price of $79.99.

If you would like to learn more about MobileNavigator North America, check out our in-depth review.  We also have a review available for MobileNavigator’s Traffic Live in-app purchase.

If you plan on traveling a lot during the holidays and need a solid navigation app for your iPhone, MobileNavigator is well worth the price at only $69.99.

  1. I saw this popup via a watch on BargainBin last night. It took all I had to not buy it right then. I’m still on the fence on whether to pick it up or not. I don’t need a GPS on my phone (I much prefer my standalone unit), but that’s a great price and Traffic Live is enticing. Decisions…

  2. I still can’t decide which iPhone GPS app is the best.. Navigon’s definitely got a lot of nice things which tomtom doesn’t (map panning/zooming when you’re looking at the destination preview, better voice, better music fade in/out for voice, better UI (imo), nice POI categories (subcategories for shops/restaurants and whatnot)).. but TomTom’s got a few nice things too (More POIs it seems, faster POI search, smarter routing (more important on longer trips).

I think I’ll stick to Navigon but I may end up trying out Magellan’s Roadmate soon.
