LogMeIn Ignition is a great way to access and control your computer or even a friend’s computer remotely from your iPhone and iPod touch, and for 48 hours you will be able to so on the cheap.
It only takes a few minutes to get your computer and iPhone or iPod touch set up and running with LogMeIn. Simply head to LogMeIn.com and create a free account. Then download the free LogMeIn software for your PC or Mac. You can also choose to go with the Pro version of the software, which provides you with the ability to transfer files between computers, print documents from a remote computer to a local printer, share files with others, and much more, but it comes at a $69.95 per year price. Once you have everything set up on the computer side, download LogMeIn Ignition from the App Store, launch the app, and follow the instructions. That’s it, you are ready to go.
LogMeIn Ignition displays everything you would normally see on your computer’s screen right on your iPhone or iPod touch. The interface is intuitive enough that you probably won’t even need any instructions. You can pinch to zoom, single-finger tap to click, two-finger tap to right click, double tap to double click, two-finger scroll like a scroll wheel, and so much more.
So if you need to constantly troubleshoot a friend’s computer from afar, or would simply like access to your home computer while on the road, LogMeIn Ignition is a great option. It’s normally priced at $29.99, but for 48 hours it is available in the App Store for only $19.99.
It appears that everyone is already enjoying the sale. LogMeIn Ignition has climbed to the number two position in the Top Grossing Apps list in the App Store!

LOGMEIN Ignition for iPhone is GOD!
If you don’t grab it while it is on sale you’ll spank yourself.
I use RDM . It works well and is super cheap compared to this.
I don’t know how it compares performance-wise though, as I only have that one. Worth looking at though before you buy.

I don’t get it, why do people pay so much for this software when you get iRdesktop and Mocha VNC Lite for free… those features that you mention in PRO version, are achievable with either of two forementioned, you just have to be resourceful… like emailing yourself a file from remote PC and then printing file from email, etc.
Those few additional functionalities don’t justify the $20 + $70 price (nor does $20 alone).
NTRConnect, is even cheaper, and works pretty well!!
It’s FREEEEEEEEE

Not on sale in Europe though :-/.
It’s still £17.99 in the UK. Outrageous.
I use Teamviewer to fix my parents’ computer regularly. Wish they would release an app.
Yea, LogMeIn has some neat apps, but they are waaaay too overpriced. I use Techinline (http://www.techinline.com) to support my clients, and it has a fraction of the features of LMI, but also is a fraction of the price.
RemoteTap is better — and it’s $4.99.
Try FarFinder (free iPhone app, $35 Mac app). No annual subscription, does everything this review says LogMeIn does. Very excellent.
