		<description>Just an FYI, 10 codes can be different depending on what region the codes are being used in. They are also deprecated and departments really should *NOT* be using them anymore. They are considered a legacy form of communication.

True, police in some areas don&#039;t like it. I see their argument. But 10 codes have no place in Fire/EMS anymore and should be abolished. You&#039;ll still hear them on police frequencies on occasion, though.</description>
