I can see where people why people who go nuts over the iPhone and iPod Touch not having this ability. I've filed a bug report to Apple. Maybe in the next version I can set it up to have manual library refreshes, so it only does that two second query when you ask it to. It's not unreasonable, however, for Song Sift to save you more than 2 seconds of browsing time.
