Like always, this review was right on the spot.
Todo used to be my favorite app but due to its poor syncing functionality I changed to Things recently. Comparing these two, Things is much simpler but does its job as well, if not more, and it will bring out repeat tasks soon.

I've tried various Todo apps and this is the only want that meets my needs. The must-have feature is the repeating items -- and more specifically, the fact that it allows both repeat from scheduled date and repeat from completion date. I use both types of repeats and have found no other app that provides the latter (and few that provide the former).

I don't particularly need push notification of my todos, though having the badge count auto-update would be good (it doesn't).

I've also had an additional problem with the syncing (iCal) in that it seems like most of the times that I sync the iCal data overwrites the in-app data. I don't manage my tasks from iCal, so this is pretty much always wrong and very frustrating to have a bunch of old tasks reappear as incomplete. The result is that I rarely sync (which just makes the problem worse when I do sync).

I'm only leaving a comment to point out how poorly written this review is. There are so many cases where you have forgotten to pluralize words that it makes it difficult to read. There's also cases where you capitalize words you shouldn't.

It looks like you wrote it on your iPhone and forgot to proofread it before posting it.

I like the information provided by App Advice, but focus on the quality of your work as well.

All that said, Todo is a decent app but the only thing I wish it did better was push. Push needs to be custom timed per task with the option of repeated notifications until a task is marked complete. There's lots of times I never see the notification because I'm busy at the time. If I didn't remember I had to do the task, it would be forgotten and not done on time.

I used to use Todo all the time, but it's poorly implemented push notifications (they don't even update the badge count, when they work at all) and it's VERY slow sync speed (roughly 30sec to 1min, or that's what it felt like) with Remember the Milk have caused me to switch to the RTM native iPhone app. It's a shame because I like the layout of Todo much better, but it just doesn't work as well as it should.

Btw, you might wanna fix this: "This one time happen to be several **afters** after my due time." :)
