
It looks like Nasa’s interest into the iPhone is growing lately, after their Nasa app here comes the Chemical Sensor.
Developed by a team of researchers at the Ames Research Center, it uses an external captor that allows the iPhone to monitor trace amounts of chemicals in the air. Looks interesting as:
it can detect the concentration of gasses like ammonia, chlorine, and methane using 16 nanosensors
I’m sure it has some very serious purpose but I must admit I would clearly enjoy playing around with it, wouldn’t you?
