My question for the AppAdvice guy is … did they say how MANY phones were using the iPhone3,1 identifier? IF they’re going to test a prototype, then they’re probably going to have more than one phone out there. I halfway believe this story because of what you said about the iPhone 3GS prototype testing around this time last year. I guess only time will tell.

Interesting point, if it’s what I think Saurik is simply saying that this story is a hoax.
Someone might have changed his iPhone identifier by modifying the system files and caused this fuss. I am not sure if this fools Pinchmedia tho.
Am I right?
