Touch DJ | Amidio - best iPhone music apps

There are many DJ or sound mixing apps on the AppStore, nonetheless this one looks from far like the most featured or at least the best marketed one I’ve seen, it’s called Touch DJ and it’s developed by Amidio.

I believe I would be an amazing DJ, but since I know nothing about the topic here is the app presented by its developers :

This application is not a toy, it’s a completely new way to create stunning DJ mixes whenever you like. You can touch and feel your tracks, move around them, scratch them, EQ them, loop them, pinch them, and mix them without cueing – only by visual control. All the tracks are frequency-coloured to make beat-matching even easier.

They even have a pretty nice video preview:

Sounds complicated, any DJ wannabes in here ?

  1. All of DJ apps for iPhone are useless & crippled. Because Apple won’t allow those apps to access the iPhone music library

    • That’s interesting, apparently it took 8 weeks for this one to get approved…

    • Amen to that man.

A working version of the PC’s MixMeister Fusion would be too awesome for words, and something I would pay alot of money for.

All the so called ‘DJ’ apps on the appStore are useless and gimicky until we can use our own music collections.

      For shame.

  2. I got it, but I wish that we would get an app that would allow us to access our own music. That would rock.
