
You might be spending a fortune on it, but Apple’s App Store is cheap. On average however, it’s not the cheapest.
Curious about those prices, with the help of Mobclix, the folks over at GigaOm pulled together some stats and put them all in the graph up there.
As you can see, even though it is not really representative with the differences in available apps, Nokia is slightly cheaper than Apple and the most expensive is from far Blackberry’s app world.
Furthermore, I personally feel like you’re getting a lot more for your money around here, agree?














Hm, without some more details that does not tell me too much.
1. There are e.g. also wallpapers, ringtones and apps that do nothing else than loading a certain Web page in the Ovi Store… Does this chart only account for real applications?
2. How have these numbers been computed (average price across all apps? actual sales?)
3. What is the ratio between paid/free apps on these stores?
