Christmas Download Explosion On The App Store

Unless you live in a cavern, it won't come as a surprise to you that iTunes gift cards and iPod touch's are a popular gift this season.
Flurry, the biggest mobile app analytics company, pulled some stats about the 25th and indeed, Christmas day was big on the App Store. How big? Well, apparently the daily download volume increased by nearly a 1000%.
You'll also notice how the iPod touch overtook the iPhone for the very first time.
