With pretty much nothing App-related happening lately, it makes me think of another good point about the  jailbreak, it doesn’t close for the holidays.

We’ve told you all about backgrounding, well, it keeps getting better and better. ProSwitcher, a Front-end to Backgrounder, lets you background and switch between your applications just like you would on a Palm Pre.

It’s really an amazing extension. Pre-Style multitasking looks/feels great and you can really customize every bit of it. Furthermore it’s completely free (on Cydia) so you have no excuse not to download it and go boast about it to those iPhone-haters friends of yours.

There are tons of Youtube previews, I guess this one is the least catastrophic of them:

Pretty neat right?

  1. That’s very cool. But watching someone use their iPhone with 9% left on their battery stresses me out.

  2. I guess it only works as good with the 3gs

  3. It works fine with the 3G no problems, cool app! Thanks!

  4. I honestly think that apple should thank these developers that make things like Pro Switcher because they are the ones that prevent people from switching to droid. Apple rewards these developers with rejection. Apple should be smarter and take in some ideas.

  5. Thanks alot, it’s really working like a charm…

  6. @Tony Sakiri In response to you, I honestly Apple should take the ideas that the developers of jailbroken apps have. Not only take their ideas as is steal them, but buy the small developing companies that they have or their codes and sources and whatnot and transfer everything to the iPhone OS, making it much better and more satisfying to all.

  7. can someone tell me how to make this work. I click the icon and nothing happens. I don’t have the vandwidth to watch a video and I can’t find instructions anywhere.

  8. you have to respring. still, somewhere on the net you,d expect some sort of info or instructions, but all I see is screen shots and vacuous reviews.
