The iPhone has long been physically capable of streaming video, but only recently has Apple given developers the tools to fully utilize its powerful hardware and started accepting those apps into the App Store. Now the App Store contains quite a few video streaming apps, so we have compiled a new Applist featuring only the best.
Our Apps For Streaming Live Video Applist features six apps that allow you to watch live video, stream video from your iPhone, and even allow you to chat about your live video feed. The apps included in the Applist are:
- Knocking Live Video
- Ustream Viewing Application
- Mobiscope: Spy live cams
- iSpyCams
- Air Cam Live Video
- Stickam Live Video
If any of you feel that we have somehow missed the essential app for this list, feel free to leave a comment below indicating which app it is so we can take a look at it and possibly add it to the list.

It doesn’t seem this list is an ‘apples to apples’ comparison, but what about Qik?
I really like iCam it has the capability to handle up to four USB or Wifi cameras over 3G WIFI or Edge with built in motion PUSH notifications and with the new update records still photographs of any motion detection to your hard drive and makes them accessible from your iphone. Very nice App!
How about Qik(someone mentioned it above), and also Bambuser(similar to uStream and Qik). Also, view your home webcam with iCam(it has Push Notifications to let you know when it senses movement) or another similar one is AtHome(this one lets you record so you can view it later).
You guys should review some of these as well.
iCam i the best personal web cam or usb cam software – i am able to monitor my home 24hrs & even record motion for later viewing
