We’ve told you earlier today about the App Store piece in today’s NYTimes, well the journalists took advantage of the occasion to ask Phil Schiller what are his favorite apps and here is what he came up with:
- Shazam: “There’s just something so amazing about being anywhere, and some music starts playing and you just hold up your phone and can find out what it is,” Mr. Schiller said. “You never again have to say ‘That’s a great song! Who is it by?”

It’s funny to still be so excited about Shazam, it’s been out for a while already and there’s been quite some progress lately. Still, it’s some great apps.
Ironic that he has the Facebook app on his list, after his app store drove its developer to quit developing for the iPhone…
