Effective immediately: 1337 Game Design’s super polished labyrinth-like iPhone and iPod touch game, Dark Nebula, will be available in the App Store for free until Monday.
Dark Nebula may look like every other labyrinth game you have played on your iPhone or iPod touch, except this one is on steroids. The game takes place in an industrial sci-fi setting with gorgeous backgrounds, as you navigate your character to the end of the level while trying to avoid traps, sliding objects, spikes, and falling off of the map.
At the end of each level you will be awarded with a medal based on how many orbs you have collected, how fast you have completed the level, and how many lives were lost, so to earn a place on the leader boards, you will need to master the game’s tilt-based controls. That shouldn’t be too difficult since Dark Nebula features nearly perfect physics and controls. It also allows you to calibrate your device so you can play in any orientation.
The game also features 10 levels, two difficulty settings, and the ability to post your scores and compete with friends on Facebook. Feel free to check out our in-depth review of Dark Nebula to learn more.
Dark Nebula is normally available in the App Store for $.99, but it will be available for free until Monday, January 17th.

I can only say one thing, Dark Nebula has gorgeous, extremely detailed, clean graphics, smooth controls & awesome gameplay! Without a doubt, Dark Nebula is, hands down the absolute best roller ball game in the Apple iTunes/App Store! It’s game’s like Dark Nebula that need more exposure so people can easily find them in the sea of apps in the App Store. There’s so much crap out there it’s hard to find quality, well polished games & apps like Dark Nebula.
I agree with the other reviews on here, though I was lucky enough to pick up Dark Nebula over it’s free weekend offer, Dark Nebula is definetly worth more then 99-cents! The quality, detail & design that has been put in to this game (beautiful graphics & very cool game trailer to say the least), it’s a crime it’s not in the $1.99 - $4.99 price range. 1337 Game Design has created an absolute beautiful masterpiece that is Dark Nebula! An absolute 5-star game!
