Good news US iPhone owners!
In response to Verizon’s price cuts, AT&T is dropping the price of its iPhone unlimited voice and data plan by an entire $30/month. Starting Monday, iPhone users will be able to opt for a new unlimited voice + data plan for $100/month via AT&T’s online account management tool.
Unlimited texting stays unchanged at $20/month and the Family Talk plan (for 2 iPhones) goes now for $180/month.
Happy?

Happy, are you seriuos? What part of a text is not data? If data is unlimited, texting should be added to it. It’s ridiculous that we as consumers continue to allow this trend of double charging. I’ll be happy when texting is included with the data. Until then I’ll continue to use a free app for texting adding only a $5 texting plan as a safety net for incoming texts.
Happy? Hell Nah! That’s why as soon as my month was up with AT&T, I went and got my iPhone jailbroken and went to my local T-Mobile dealer who hooked me up with unlimited text, data & talk for under $100. Don’t do us any favors AT&T.
I agree, it’s nice to see att drop some of their prices, my plan already is nuts, but with this new pricing I should be able to save $20-$30 a month, just have to figure out what they’ll do for my third line that makes no calls, just needed the free phone. I think att, the red sphincter and tmo need to look at what sprint does as well, their simply everything plan blows all of these out of the water, unless tmos is even better now, not sure.
