Unless you’ve got a second iPhone like iWoz, you better use this app with parsimony because your iPhone will not appreciate it.
Pocket heat is a $1 app meant to turn your iPhone into a pocket radiator. It does so by forcing your iPhone to work full capacity and therefore, warm up.
It’s a smart idea, but watch out not to hurt yourself, or your favorite iDevice.

wow, really cool… but dangerous. can it actually damage the device? if so, why did the app store didnĀ“t rejected it.
What about the battery? does it drains it?
thanks a lot
Think of it like of a car. If you’re gentle with it, it will last longer.
And yeah, it will drain the battery a lot.
Yeah that sounds like a smart thing to do! Save your iphone and go to the dollar store for some gloves.
parsimony…great word
The iPhone ( and I would guesss iPod touch ) does have overheating protection. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2101
However, pushing that limit too much may reduce the lifespan ( charge cycles ) of the battery and possibly other components.

This is intended just to be a showoff app…no one will actually use this repeatedly, can’t be good for your iPhone at all haha.
