101

Today we embark on part three of our journey through the best games for the iPhone. We now make it into the top 50 where the competition becomes even stiffer.

As the list unveils I think more and more that this isn’t just the Top 100 games for the iPhone. It’s also 100 reasons to get an iPhone or iPod Touch. Other devices may come along copying or improving upon the specs of the iPhone. Other app markets can add twitter apps, news apps, sports scores, etc. Games make the iPhone stand apart, and don’t we all need a little fun right now.

As we make it to midweek developers have added to our giveaway. We just received 10 promo codes for Pac-Man: Championship Edition from Namco. Also if you haven’t noticed there are now a total of three $20 giftcards from gameloft, and a $15 giftcard from ngmoco. On top of that Chillingo provided five defender chronicles promo codes, and one ravensword promo codes in honor of all their games on top of what they have already provided. Taito also provided five Space Invaders Infinity Genre promo codes.

All you have to do it comment or retweet this post or any or all of the top 100 posts through out the week to be entered to win a part of over $450 worth of games. Find out all the details here. Also see Part 1 and Part 2, and stay tuned on Thursday for #40-21 and Friday with the Top 20.

Also I wanted to give special notice to a wonderful comment on the ultimate giveaway post by starmonkey101 for giving us such an enjoyable read. Be sure to check it out. We welcome creativity, but its not mandatory.

I invite you to take a look at all three of our game reviews this week that are part of a series covering the hottest games of 2009 we missed.

Samurai: Way of the Warrior by Mad Finger Games
Spider: The Secret of Bryce Manor by Tigerstyle Games
Jet Car Stunts by TrueAxis

In honor of all three we will be giving those three games out today to the random numbers generated by AppBox Pro from all of the comments and tweets already in on the giveaway. Don’t worry there will be many more to come.

It’s time to find out if your favorites made the list, where they’re ranked, and find out other games you don’t have or didn’t know about. Thank you for your support so far, and keep with us as we climb to the peaks of iPhone gaming. Let us know what you think of the new additions.
