Durak Rocks Even More In v2.0 Thanks To Online Multiplayer

For those of you who aren't overly knowledgeable in the international card game department, Durak (doo-rock) is a unique Russian card game with multiple winners but only one loser, the Durak.  The iPhone version of Durak developed by Lost Token Software was a nearly perfect digital recreation of the card game even before its most recent update, but now that it features online multiplier, it's going to be tough to put down. Durak for the iPhone and iPod touch can be played with two to four players and a deck of 36 cards.  Each player in the game receives six cards, and the objective is to get rid of all of those cards before everyone else does because the last person with cards left in their hand loses. The game is turn-based, where each player has a chance to attack and defend.  To attack, you simply place a card face up on the table and the defender must place a card on top of that which exceeds its numerical value, or they can use a trump card.  A trump card is actually a predetermined suit that trumps all other cards.  If the defender is unable to defend, they must take all of the cards into their hand.  If the defender is able to defend, the cards on the table simply go into the graveyard.  This goes on until the deck is gone. Durak v2.0, however, takes this unique game to a whole new level with online multiplayer.  The game now features the ability to play online against up to three other players via 3G or Wi-Fi, or you can play locally via Bluetooth.  The online system also features persistent profiles, buddy lists, Facebook connect, the ability to chat with other players, push notifications, and leader boards.  The entire online system has been implemented very well, making it a rather enjoyable experience.
