Google unexpectedly rolled out a brand new look for its mobile interface this morning. As you can see above, it features the slightly more modern look that Google rolled out in Gmail and Voice lately.

The predictive search seems more snappy and you can now erase your query with one tap, which is very convenient.

It looks kinda Bingy to me, how do you like it?

  1. Google does not work on any of the iPod Touches in my house. The classic version of the site works, but not the mobile version. I’ve tried clearing cookies, databases, etc. but nothing works. I turned on the debug mode and saw that there were several HTML errors. This has been happening for several months so I just switch over to Yahoo. Maybe this new update to the site will fix it.

  2. It’s been updated. I’ve started to notice it about a week ago but it does not always show up. I have not noticed a trend to when it does show up.

  3. I don’t think it looks like bing at all. Bing looks like some priceline or travelocity site. You must have rolled to much schwag this morning.
