Ravensword Developer Reveals Two Upcoming Titles - Screenshots Included

April 29, 2010

Crescent Moon Games, the developer behind the hit iPhone RPG Ravensword: The Fallen King, has pulled the curtain on their new website, and by doing so revealed two new titles that are in the works. Ultra Kid: Mystery of the Mutants, a 2.5D/3D platformer, and Rimelands: Hammer of Thor, a turned-based RPG developed by Dicework Games and being published by Crescent Moon Games. Ultra Kid: Mystery of the Mutants is a stylized 2.5D/3D platformer inspired by games like MegaMan, Kid Icarus, and Super Mario Galaxy. The game will have you flying rockets through space in order to jump between different planets and moons where you will be fighting the creatures that lurk in the shadows.  Enemies won't go down without a fight, so you will have to collect weapons and upgrade your suit as you progress through the game and attempt to take down the evil Dr. Ridalin. The game is still in development, but expect to hear more about it in the coming weeks. Rimelands: Hammer of Thor is a turn-based RPG that features simple yet deep game mechanics.  In the game you will be playing as a young treasure hunter who wants to appease her grandmother's appetite for riches by exploring vaults and vast terrain while encountering a wide variety of enemies.  During your quest you will also attempt to find out more about your dead parents and your shrouded past. The game will feature three different character paths, tons of quests and items to pick up, both random-generated and pre-designed levels, and the ability to customize your character with different talents. Rimelands is still in development as well, so keep an eye out for more info. Check out the gallery below, which includes screenshots for both titles. [gallery link="file" columns="4"]
