The supply of apps that have gone free was nearly exhausted over the weekend, but we were able to round up some more for you today.
Abstract Glowing Art ($.99 -> Free): A painting/drawing app that’s perfect for the everyday doodler or even the semi-pro artists out there.
The app allows you to create unique glowing images on a black canvas with just the tip of your finger. It features over 30 different styles of brushes, many different sizes and colors, unlimited undo, and the ability to save your work to the camera roll or upload it to Facebook or Flickr. The bottom toolbar allows you to access all of the features when needed, but will disappear the moment your finger touches the canvas.
Abstract Glowing Art is available for free today only (5/17).
A+ Police Radio ($.99 -> Free): Another free app from the creators of Abstract Glowing Art. A+ Police Radio allows you to listen to the radio transmissions of police, emergency, fire, highway, and more in order to find out where and what kind of accidents or events are taking place.
The app features over 1,000 channels that cover most areas in the U.S., Australia, Canada, Chile, and Chad. Transmissions can be recorded at any time to be played back later or downloaded to your computer via a web browser. The app also features the ability to add favorites, search through channels near you, send recordings via email, and view if a channel is currently online or offline.
A+ Police Radio is available for free today only (5/17).
Ball Roll Deluxe ($1.99 -> Free): A distance game where you must make your ball jump over gaps in order to achieve the furthest distance.
In the game your ball rolls automatically and you must simply tap the screen in order to jump over the gaps. A quick tap will only make your ball jump a small amount, and tapping and holding will make it leap a bit further. The game features three different modes of play, and AGON online integration in order to provide global leaderboards.
Ball Roll Deluxe is available for free for a limited time.
That’s it for today. Hopefully tomorrow will bring us some iPad apps gone free.
