AP Offers World Cup Headlines For IPhone Users
June 5, 2010
AP Sports, in conjunction with Visa has just released a World Cup app that any spectator will enjoy. And, what’s really cool about the app is that users can customize it depending on what team you are cheering to victory.
The app shows up-to-date tournament information, including the latest news headlines, photos of your favorite team, and of course, tournament standings. But, there is more. Videos from the tournament will be linked and made available right on your device, so you won’t miss any of the action. And since the tournament will be held at fields all over South Africa, there is a Venue link that shows you key venue matches, World Cup capacity, history of the locale, and photos of the venue. The international tournament begins June 11 through July 11 and the app is available for free now at the App store.
