Navigon is looking to help you navigate your way to a new summer vacation spot or simply around downtown San Francisco during this year’s WWDC by slashing the price of the company’s MyRegion apps in half.
Navigon’s MyRegion apps offer the ability to custom tailor your navigation experience by featuring maps for specific regions in the continental U.S. This allows you to save some big bucks if you don’t travel outside of your region, because why would you possibly want maps for places you don’t visit?
All three of the apps still contain the same awesome features found in the full-blown version, including lane and speed assistance, day and night mode, text-to-speech, Google local search, turn-by-turn RouteList, and much more. MyRegion users can also purchase the live traffic feature in-app for $19.99.
Navigon’s MyRegion apps aren’t just one-trick ponies though. Let’s say you decide to travel to a different location that the app’s map data doesn’t cover. Now what? Navigon offers the ability to purchase the other two U.S. regions as in-app purchases, giving you the completed experience if necessary.
Each Navigon MyRegion app (West, Central, East) has been marked down to $14.99 from their usual price of $29.99. Prices are effective immediately and will end on June 11th. Maps for additional regions have also been marked down from their usual $14.99 price to only $9.99 during this same period.
And just as a warning, before purchasing one of the MyRegion apps, make sure your state is included in the map data. You can find that information in the app’s description.
