Fans of the über cool tech toy can pre-order today by heading to Brookstone’s online store with credit card in-hand and purchase it for $299.  A $10 flat rate fee for shipping will be tacked on as well since the box is so darn big.  The AR.Drone will begin shipping to customers on September 3rd.

The AR.Drone will be available exclusively in Brookstone brick and mortar stores as well through October 31st in order to allow customers to experience it in-person.

• 1 battery charger and 4-pin mains adapter

• 1 quick start guide

Of course, to fly the AR.Drone you will need to have an iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad, and then download the free Free Flight app, which is already available in the App Store.
